The coast & getting here

A headland to yourselves, a county worth the drive.

What surrounds the house, what the free afternoons hold, and exactly how your group gets here — including what the fog does and when.

Accessibility, honestly

The house is single-level and step-free throughout, with one fully roll-in bath. The deck is flush with the great room. The cove stair and coastal trail are not accessible — the headland fire ring, reachable by a flat path, is.

The fog, and the seasons

Summer: long bright mornings, afternoon marine layer. Autumn: the clearest skies of the year. Winter — the quiet season — brings storm-watching weather, whale migration, and the coast at its most yours. Pack layers in every month; nobody regrets a wool sweater here.

Make the drive once

Most groups book again before they're back on 128.
